This adventure started with my mom gifting me her sewing machine and it is a gift that I will treasure until the end of time.

When I started to learn how to sew in 2019, I had no idea that this is where I would be. It was supposed to be something that occupied my time in a mildly productive way. As time passed, however, I discovered how much sewing aligns with my commitment to avoid fast fashion and as the year progressed I found myself making the items I needed rather than purchasing them - with very minor exceptions.

With this revelation, I decided to make my own handmade closet and will be using this space to document my journey and to share any useful tips that come along.

Note: This website is still very much under construction! As time progresses I will add more photos and get a better rhythm. So please be patient with me as I learn both the art of garment making and photo blogging.
